Bronx, N.Y. – (October 12, 2025) – The Fordham Rams scored twice in the first half and twice in the second to record a 4-1 Atlantic 10 women's soccer win over the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Sunday afternoon at Moglia Stadium.
Fordham improved to 8-4-2 overall, 3-2-1 in Atlantic 10 play.
THE GAME
- St. Bonaventure opened the scoring in the 30th minute, when Ekemini Udofa found Daniela Ribeiro De Souza on the left side for a driving shot for her second goal of the year
- The Rams evened the game at one on a goal from Liina Tervo, her team-leading 10th goal of the season, in the 35th minute, taking a through ball by Julia Acosta.Julia Holton also received an assist on the play.
- Just a minute and 11 seconds later, Fordham took a 2-1 lead on Riley Carroll's third of the season, after taking a pass from Tervo.
- The Rams made it 3-1 in the 53rd minute, as Salma Simonin knocked the rebound from a Tervo shot, just under the crossbar for her first goal of the year.
- Only a minute and ten later, Fordham increased its advantage to 4-1 on Lena Johnsen's third goal of the season with Acosta and Holton each recording their second assist of the match.
GAME NOTES
- Kyla King recorded one save in for the Rams.
- Fordham peppered 33 shots toward goal, compared to four for the Bonnies.
- Tervo's goal was the 20th of her career, becoming the seventh Ram to score at least 20 goals, while her 52 career points are tied for sixth at Fordham with Jessica Widmann (2011-15).
- This was Holton's second career multi-assist game and the first for Acosta.
