Women’s Soccer Downed at La Salle

Rams Fall To Explorers by 2-0 Score

Philadelphia, Pa. – (October 16, 2025) – La Salle's Ella Cadigan posted a goal and an assist to lead the Explorers to a 2-0 decision over the Fordham Rams in Atlantic 10 women's soccer play on Thursday night at McCarthy Stadium.
 
The loss puts Fordham at 8-5-2 overall, 3-3-1 in Atlantic 10 play.
 
THE GAME
  • La Salle hit the scoreboard first in the sixth minute, as from the endline, Ella Cadigan found Kameron Rase for a shot from eight yards that snuck by Fordham goalkeeper Kyla King.It was her fourth goal of the season.
  • The Explorers capped the scoring in the 75th minute.A long free kick from midfield was played into the box, whee Cadigan was able to head home her third goal of the year for the 2-0 final score.
 
GAME NOTES
  • Kyla King finished the match with two saves for Fordham.
  • The Rams recorded 19 shots in the loss, seven of them on goal.
