ORLANDO, Fla. – The Fordham golf team wrapped its 2024 spring season on Sunday, finishing 11th at the Atlantic 10 Championship held at Evermore Resort's Cypress Course.
VCU claimed its fifth conference championship, shooting a 20-under 844 over the span of 54 holes, 25 shots ahead of George Washington in second place. VCU's Ugo Malcor (-9) took home medalist honors after a birdie on the second hole of a playoff against teammate Grayson Wood.
Jake Mrva led the way for Fordham over three days in Orlando, finishing in a tie for 29th after a Sunday 77. Mrva was on fire to start the day, playing his first six holes in three under, highlighted by an eagle of the par-five 13th.Â
Freshman Felix Luetke Meyring carded the Rams' best round of the day, an even-par 72, to move into a share of 41st place. The Shanghai native was two under through 17 holes.
Bryan Ruland also finished in a tie for 41st on the individual leaderboard following a Sunday 81.Â
Chris Konefal carded an 84 to finish in a tie for 49th.
Making his A-10 Championship debut on Sunday, AJ DePaolo shot a 79.
