KENILWORTH, N.J. – In its final tune-up before the Atlantic Championship, the Fordham golf team fell to Wagner yesterday in a dual match at Galloping Hill Golf Course.
The host Seahawks posted a team-score of 297 (+13) while the Rams registered a 310 (+26).
Freshman Tucker Silva led the Rams' efforts, carding a five-over 76.
Playing as an individual, fellow freshman AJ DePaolo posted a 77.
The other three Rams whose scores counted in the team tally-- Chris Konefal, Felix Luetke Meyring and Bryan Ruland—all logged 78s. Competing as an individual, Mashu Nishi also shot a 78.
Fresh off his second win of the season at the ABARTA Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational, Jake Mrva carded an 84.
The Rams will return to action one week from today at the Atlantic 10 Golf Championship at Evermore Resort in Orlando, Fla.
