BRONX, N.Y. – With the second semester in full swing and the start of the spring exhibition season just over a month away, Fordham Men's Soccer Head Coach
Carlo Acquista has announced the addition of six newcomers to his roster.
"We are thrilled to add this group to our roster for the spring," said Acquista. "They bring a wealth of different experiences and talent to The Bronx!"
The Rams have enrolled three transfers and three freshmen that will look to immediately contribute: Ede Gramberg, Benji Jones, Nick Mavica, Kamran Mojabi, Jack Sias and Constantine Tikhanovski.
Ede Gramberg - Forward - Berlin, Germany/Omaha
Gramberg comes to Rose Hill following two seasons at Omaha, scoring seven goals and dishing out two assists in 31 appearances for the Mavericks, 14 of which were starts. This past fall, Gramberg helped lead Omaha to a Summit League title, including an 87th minute goal in the Mavericks' championship match victory over UMKC. It was the Berlin, Germany, native's sixth goal of the season, a total that ranked second on the team and fifth in the conference.

Before coming to the United States, Gramberg played with Energie Cottbus in the U19 Bundesliga, logging more than 1,100 minutes and leading the team in scoring during his final season with the club. He helped his team finish second in the top national division while also earning MVP honors. Scholastically, he played for Havemann Gymnasium in Berlin, helping his team to a SLZB national championship.
Benji Jones - Defender - Bristol, England/Adelphi
Jones joins the Rams following a stellar three-year tenure with Division II Adelphi on Long Island. Jones twice received all-conference recognition at Adelphi, earning NE10 All-Rookie and Second Team All-Conference accolades in 2021 before finding a spot on the NE10 All-Conference First Team in 2023. In addition to wearing the captain's armband this fall, Jones also earned D2CCA All-Region Second Team honors. Over his three seasons with the Panthers, he appeared in 50 matches, all of which were starts, while tallying two goals and seven assists.
While at the Millfield School in his native England, Jones captained the U17 and U18 squads, helping the team to an Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) Cup title. This past summer, Jones capped six times with the Long Island Roughriders of USL League Two.
Jack Sias - Defender - Greenwich, Conn./Campbell
A Connecticut native, Sias returns to the Northeast following two years at Campbell in Buies Creek, N.C. As a freshman in 2022, Sias appeared in five matches for the Big South regular season champions, logging one assist in the process. The Fighting Camels went 11-4-5 on the year with a 6-1-1 league record. This past fall as a sophomore, Sias appeared in 10 matches, three of which were starts, including the full 90 minutes of a 3-0 win over Gardner Webb on Oct. 24.
Before Campbell, Sias excelled on the club circuit with Beachside SC as a right back. In addition to being a standout soccer player and a member of the National Honor Society, he also earned prep All-American honors as a part of Greenwich High School's sprint medley indoor track team after placing fourth at New Balance Nationals.
Nick Mavica - Forward - Colts Neck, N.J.
Mavica joins the Rams from The Garden State. A graduate of Colts Neck High School, Mavica played one year of high school soccer, earning All-Division and All-County honors while leading the Cougars to a B North Championship for the first time in 10 years.
Mavica was a standout for FC Westchester, playing in the U19 MLS NEXT Cup as a U17 in 2022 and winning the MLS NEXT Flex Tournament as a U19 this past May. The following month, Mavica's team qualified for the MLS NEXT Cup.
Kamran Mojabi - Defender - San Francisco, Calif.
Mojabi comes to Fordham from the Bay Area, where he played two years of varsity soccer for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, earning all-league honors in the process.
While on the club circuit, Mojabi joined the San Francisco Glens. During the summer of 2022, Mojabi earned a spot for training at the academy of KSV Holstein, a club in the 2. Bundesliga. Additionally, he played up as a starter on the U19 team, contributing to their advancement to the MLS final in 2022. The subsequent year, he maintained his position as a starter for the U19 team, aiding them in qualifying for the MLS next playoffs.
Constantine Tikhanovski - Defender - Brooklyn, N.Y.
A local product from Brooklyn, Tikhanovski will begin his collegiate career following a standout club tenure with Met Oval Academy, helping his team qualify for the MLS NEXT Cup playoffs in 2023.
Scholastically, Tikhanovski attended Brooklyn Tech for four years.
