Washington, D.C. – (October 15, 2024) – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly cross country awards on Tuesday with Fordham junior
Matthew Febles (Bronx, N.Y./Fordham Prep) earning Men's Performer of the Week honors. It is the first career weekly award for Febles.
Febles was Fordham's top finisher at Saturday's Metropolitan Championship, held at Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey. He finished 15
th overall on the 8K course in a personal-best time of 26:26.36. His previous best time on an 8K course was at the Paul Short Run on October 5
th, clocking in at 27:00.9.
Febles and the rest of the Rams are back on the trail on Friday, October 18
th, at the ECAC/IC4A Championship, held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
