SNY to Broadcast Three Fordham Football Games This Fall

Contests with Lehigh, Holy Cross and Bucknell to air on SNY this season

BRONX, N.Y. – Entering the third year of a multi-sport partnership, Fordham and SNY announced on Tuesday that the network will air three Fordham football games this fall.

All three of Fordham's Patriot League home games will air on SNY. The first of these contests will come on Oct. 7, when the Rams welcome Lehigh on Homecoming.  A rematch with reigning Patriot League Champion Holy Cross awaits on Oct. 28 before the Rams close out the home portion of their regular season against Bucknell on Nov. 4.

"I think I speak on behalf of everyone at Fordham when I say how excited I am to continue our relationship with SNY," said Director of Athletics Ed Kull.  "It's such a benefit for our department and our University to have games be easily accessible for millions of New Yorkers on one of the nation's most watched sports channels.  This is a great opportunity not only for our student-athletes, but also for the untold thousands of Fordham alumni who wish to follow their Rams."

Following a banner year in 2022 that featured an at-large bid to the FCS Championship Playoffs for the first time since 2015, Fordham is off to another strong start in 2023.  The Rams, ranked 15th in this week's edition of the FCS Coaches Poll, are 3-1 with a road win over FBS opponent Buffalo on Sept. 9.  In the team's two home wins this season, the Rams have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 90-16.

In his first year leading the Fordham offense, quarterback CJ Montes has already thrown for more than 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns, including four apiece to veteran receivers MJ Wright and Mekai Felton.

Before making their SNY debut on Oct. 7 at Moglia Stadium, the Rams will return to action on Saturday in the nation's capital when they take on Georgetown.  Kick-off is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
