As part of an 18-game league schedule, the Rams will play four opponents both home and away: Davidson, La Salle, St. Bonaventure and Saint Joseph's. Fordham will also host Dayton, George Washington, Loyola Chicago, Massachusetts and Saint Louis at the Rose Hill Gym. Road trips to Duquesne, George Mason, Rhode Island, Richmond and VCU also await the Rams.
The complete 2023-24 conference schedule with dates, times and national television information, will be released at a later date.
Fordham is entering its first season under the direction of Head Coach Bridgette Mitchell, who came to the Bronx following two seasons at Northeastern, where she was named 2023 CAA Coach of the Year. A native of Trenton, N.J., Mitchell led the Huskies to a 13-5 league mark and a share of the league's regular season title after being predicted to finish eighth in the preseason coaches' poll.
A former McDonald's All-American and collegiate standout at Duke, Mitchell undertook successful tenures as an assistant coach at Pittsburgh, JMU, Siena and Wagner before landing her first head coaching job in 2021.
