Atlantic 10 Release
 
BRONX, N.Y. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its schedule pairings for the upcoming 2023-24 men's basketball campaign on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Coming off its best season in nearly three decades of Atlantic 10 membership, Fordham will play home-and-home series with the same four conference foes as it did in 2022-23: Davidson, Duquesne, Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure.  The Rams went 6-2 in those eight matchups a year ago, winning six in a row after starting A-10 play with consecutive losses to Davidson and URI.
 
In addition to those four schools, Fordham will play host to George Mason, La Salle, Loyola Chicago, Richmond and VCU.  The Rams will then travel to take on Dayton, George Washington, Massachusetts, Saint Joseph's and Saint Louis.
 
The complete 2023-24 conference schedule with dates and times, as well as national television information, will be released at a later date.  The 2024 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship will return to Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. for the seventh time beginning on March 12.
 
Last season, Fordham registered new A-10 high-water marks for victories (12) and winning percentage (.667) on its way to an overall record of 25-8, good enough for the second-highest win total in program history.  The Rams finished tied for second in the final regular season standings and earned the no. 3 seed in the Atlantic 10 Championship, both of which were program-bests.  Three Rams earned all-conference recognition, as Darius Quisenberry was named to the All-Atlantic 10 Second Team, Khalid Moore found a spot on the Third Team and Kyle Rose played his way onto the conference's all-defensive team.  In his first year at the helm of the program, Keith Urgo was named Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year, becoming just the second coach in Fordham history and first since 1999 to win the award.
