Orlando, Fla. – The Fordham women's tennis squad, seeded second, advanced to the semifinals of the 2023 Atlantic 10 Championship with a 4-0 win over seventh-seeded Rhode Island at the USTA National Campus on Friday.
 
With the win, Fordham moves on to face #3 Massachusetts on Saturday at 9:00 a.m., looking to advance to the championship match for the second straight year.
 
The Rams opened play by taking the doubles point, winning both completed doubles matches. Fordham then clinched the match with wins at first, fifth, and sixth singles, all in straight sets.
