Fairfax, Va. – The Fordham men's tennis team wrapped up its trip to Fairfax, Va., with a 4-3 loss to George Mason University at the Mason Tennis Courts.
 
"We couldn't have played them any closer," said head coach David Slater. "But the players gave everything they had. We are just a couple of points away from coming away with a win. Great job from the team."
 
The Rams opened the match winning the doubles points, taking two of the three matches. Fordham then picked up points and first and sixth singles and came close to wining the match as fourth and fifth singles went to a third set.
