Fairfax, Va. – The Fordham men's tennis team fell to the University of Richmond, 4-0, in a match played at George Mason University's Mason Tennis Courts on Saturday.
"Playing these types of matches can be tough when the result is 4-0 but all the matches were close," said Fordham head coach David Slater. "There were very tough conditions today but the team did a great job and I'm proud of their efforts."
The Rams opened play by dropping the doubles point, losing two of the three doubles matches. The Spiders then picked up the win by earning points at first, second, and fourth, singles.
