Trumbull, Conn. - The Fordham men's tennis team traveled up Route 95 today to face Sacred Heart University, falling to the Pioneers, 6-1, at the Tennis Club of Trumbull.
The Rams opened the match by dropping the doubles point, losing two out of the three competed matches.
Singles play was hotly contested with four of the matches going to a third set or tiebreaker but the Rams could only gain one point, that coming with Sampras Rakotandrainibe's victory at sixth singles.
