Fordham Hall of Famer and Olympic Gold Medalist to Appear via Zoom

Jubilee Weekend Information

Bronx, N.Y. – Want to know what it's like to be an Olympic gold medalist?  Anyone who will be attending the 2022 Fordham University Jubilee will have a chance to ask Fordham's own Tom Courtney, FCRH '55, who took home gold from the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, Australia.

The Zoom meeting will take place on Saturday, June 4, in Loyola Hall located in O'Keefe Commons from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. At the event, you'll be able to ask questions of Courtney, who won gold medals in the 800-meter race and 1,600-meter relay. You'll see film of Tom's come-from-behind 800-meter win, one of the most exciting in Olympic history.

A member of Fordham's Hall of Honor and Athletic Hall of Fame, Tom will speak and answer questions by Zoom. His book, The Inside Track, will be given to attendees.
