The senior transfer leads Fordham in assists (81) and steals (58), third in the conference in the latter, is second in scoring (14.1) and fourth in rebounding (5.2), with two 30-point games to her name this season. Dingle has seven games with four or more steals and 11 with at least three.
"Asiah has been a terrific addition to our program both on and off the court. I feel she should have been recognized on the All-Defensive team, as well. She disrupts the opponent. I'm proud of her coming into our program and being recognized for her talents."
Downey has one A-10 Player of the Week award to her name this season and is the team's leading three-point shooter, knocking down 42 at a 36.2% clip while shooting 40.2% overall from the field. She also leads in blocks (18) and is third in rebounding (5.4) and assists (66) and fourth in scoring (7.8) and steals (26). The senior is already working on her Master's degree and has a 4.0 GPA after a 3.78 undergrad cumulative GPA. It is the second straight season that Downey has been named to the All-Academic squad.
"Kaitlyn has been a three-year captain and leads us on and off the court. She is a major contributor on the court, but her academic success speaks for itself."
