Lindsay Hung and Sofie Siem to join Rams

Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham women's tennis head coach Michael Sowter announced the addition of two signees – Lindsay Hung and Sofie Siem – both of whom will join the program for the 2022-23 season.

Hung is currently playing her senior year at the University of Utah and will join the Rams as a graduate transfer in 2022-2023. She is a perfect 9-0 in singles action so far this year, playing mostly at the third position.

As a junior at Utah in 2020-2021, Hung played primarily on courts two and three in singles and doubles action, tying for a team-high with eight singles wins in dual play.

A graduate of San Clemente High School in San Clemente, California, Hung was a five-star recruit and ranked in the top-40 in the nation. She was a high school All-American, a three-time league champion, and a CIF finalist.

A native of Stabekk, Norway, Siem trains at Norwegian College for Elite Athletes (NTG) and Stabekk Tennis Club. She is the 2019 Norwegian U/16 Singles Champion and recorded wins at ITF J5 Stavanger and J5 Bergen tournaments. Since 2015, Siem has been ranked top 2 in Norway.
