Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham volleyball (11-16, 5-11) wraps up the regular season this weekend with a pair of matches against George Mason (7-20, 3-13). Friday's contest will begin at 6 p.m. and Saturday's at 2 p.m., the former being streamed on ESPN+.

Ramses Challenge, a new philanthropic initiative supporting our student-athletes! Pledge a set amount of money for each set won by Fordham volleyball this year, or make a one-time gift to the program. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to Fordham volleyball. The Rams won 46 sets last year and are up to 44 so far through 27 matches!

Series History
The Rams lead the series, 9-6, since the Patriots joined the league in 2013 and are 6-1 inside the cozy confines of the Rose Hill Gym. Fordham saw a five-match win streak snapped in the most recent meeting, however, a four-set loss on the road last year.

National and A-10 Ranks
The Rams rank within the top-five in the A-10 in attacks per set (1
st – 37.54), which sits 10
th nationally, digs per set (3
rd – 15.89), assists per set (4
th – 11.63), kills per set (4
th – 12.56), hit percentage (5
th - .199), and aces per set (5
th – 1.51).

At the individual level,
Whitley Moody is second in the conference in points (4.17 per set, 412.5 total) and kills (3.62 per set, 358 total). Nationally, Moody is 29
th in attacks per set (11.39) and 19
th in total attacks (1,128).
Mallory Lipski is third in the league and 33
rd nationally with 4.79 digs per set, while
Chloe Pejouan is fourth and 121
st, respectively, with 1.10 blocks per set.

Climbing the Program Ranks
Mallory Lipski broke the program three-set record for digs at Loyola Chicago on October 1
st, with 25, and continues her climb up the all-time ranks, now fourth with 1,318 total career digs, while her 3.91 career rate is second to only former teammate Morgan Williams.
Whitley Moody is tops in program history with 3.60 kills per set, more than .2 more than Olivia Fairchild's record-setting mark.
Megan Brzozowski moved past Sara Konkel ('13) into sixth with 2,744 assists and is seventh with 7.95 dimes per set.
Aria De La Rosa is up to sixth with a career .262 hit percentage and is also fifth with 235 block assists and joint-ninth with 255 total blocks.
Chloe Pejouan has moved into 10
th all-time with 40 solo blocks, 28 of which have come this year, and is extremely close to joining the other two categories, while her 1.28 per-set average is second all-time only to former teammate Izzy Fichtel.

As for this season, Moody's 3.62 kills/set average ranks fifth all-time, Lipski's 4.79 digs rank fourth, her 474 total digs rank fourth, De La Rosa is seventh with a .291 hit percentage, and Pejouan sits fourth with 28 solo blocks, sixth with 1.11 blocks/set, and ninth with 108 total blocks.

Audrey Brown Named A-10 Rookie of the Week A Third Time
The freshman outside hitter
earned her third weekly honor from the league last Monday after posting back-to-back 19-kill matches at Duquesne over the weekend. She is one of five Rams to earn at least three weekly Rookie accolades in a season after Moody (2020*), McKenna Lahr (2017), Olivia Fairchild (2016), and Christi Griffiths (2007).

Whitley Moody Named A-10 Player of the Week
The junior outside hitter
earned her second career Player of the Week honor after leading the Rams to four wins in four days as August turned to September, racking up 54 kills, 35 digs, five blocks, and four aces, averaging 4.32 points per set.

USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award
For the third straight year and fourth time in the last five years, the Rams earned a United States Marine Corps/American Volleyball Coaches Association
Team Academic award, holding a 3.3 GPA or above for the entire 2021-22 academic year. 12 student-athletes also saw placement on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, which requires a 3.0 GPA or better for the year. Â
