Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham volleyball (10-14, 4-9) returns home for the final five matches of the regular season, starting with Rhode Island (6-10, 2-11) on Wednesday night at 5 p.m. and then two matches against Saint Louis (15-11, 7-7) on Friday and Saturday, at 6 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., respectively. All three matches will be streamed on ESPN+. Â

Ramses Challenge

Ramses Challenge, a new philanthropic initiative supporting our student-athletes! Pledge a set amount of money for each set won by Fordham volleyball this year, or make a one-time gift to the program. All proceeds are tax-deductible and go directly to Fordham volleyball. The Rams won 46 sets last year and are up to 40 so far through 24 matches!

Series Histories
Rhode Island – Rhody leads the all-time series, 34-12, since Fordham joined the A-10 in 1995. Since the start of the 2019 season, the series is tied, 4-4, include a Fordham sweep on the road earlier this season. Read about that win

Saint Louis – The Billikens lead the all-time series, 24-2, since they joined the league in 2005. Fordham's lone wins came in 2011, a five-set win on the road, and in last year's Atlantic 10 Championship quarterfinals, which you can read about
here. Fordham is 0-12 on home court against SLU.

National and A-10 Ranks
The Rams rank within the top-five in the A-10 in attacks per set (1
st – 37.49), which sits 12
th nationally, digs per set (3
rd – 15.80), hit percentage (4
th - .198), kills per set (4
th – 12.49), and assists per set (4
th – 11.60).

At the individual level,
Whitley Moody is second in the conference in points (4.14 per set, 368.5 total) and kills (3.58 per set, 319 total). She is also ninth with 0.35 aces per set. Nationally, Moody is 29
th in attacks per set (11.38) and 22
nd in total attacks (1,013).
Mallory Lipski is third in the league and 40
th nationally with 4.72 digs per set, while
Chloe Pejouan is fourth and 85
th, respectively, with 1.16 blocks per set.

Climbing the Program Ranks
Mallory Lipski broke the program three-set record for digs at Loyola Chicago on October 1
st, with 25, and continues her climb up the all-time ranks, now fifth with 1,264 total career digs, while her 3.87 career rate is second to only former teammate Morgan Williams.
Whitley Moody is tops in program history with 3.57 kills per set, nearly .2 more than Olivia Fairchild's record-setting mark.
Megan Brzozowski moved past Sara Konkel ('13) into sixth with 2,640 assists and is seventh with 7.88 dimes per set.
Chloe Pejouan has moved into 10
th all-time with 39 solo blocks, 27 of which have come this year, and is extremely close to joining the other two categories, while her 1.31 per-set average is second all-time only to former teammate Izzy Fichtel.

As for this season, Moody's 3.58 kills/set average ranks fifth all-time, Lipski's 4.72 digs rank fourth, her 420 total digs rank 10
th, and Pejouan sits fourth with 27 solo blocks, sixth with 1.16 blocks/set, and 10
th with 103 total blocks.

Audrey Brown Named A-10 Rookie of the Week A Third Time
The freshman outside hitter
earned her third weekly honor from the league on Monday after posting back-to-back 19-kill matches at Duquesne over the weekend. She is one of five Rams to earn at least three weekly Rookie accolades in a season after Moody (2020*), McKenna Lahr (2017), Olivia Fairchild (2016), and Christi Griffiths (2007).

Whitley Moody Named A-10 Player of the Week
The junior outside hitter
earned her second career Player of the Week honor after leading the Rams to four wins in four days as August turned to September, racking up 54 kills, 35 digs, five blocks, and four aces, averaging 4.32 points per set.

USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award
For the third straight year and fourth time in the last five years, the Rams earned a United States Marine Corps/American Volleyball Coaches Association
Team Academic award, holding a 3.3 GPA or above for the entire 2021-22 academic year. 12 student-athletes also saw placement on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, which requires a 3.0 GPA or better for the year.

Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll
The league's head coaches voted on the annual preseason poll and Fordham was picked to finish seventh. Dayton was selected to successfully defend its title, garnering eight first-place votes, with VCU getting the other two votes and picked second, followed by newcomers Loyola Chicago in third.
