Newport News, Va. – The Atlantic 10 has postponed Sunday's women's basketball contest between Fordham and Rhode Island due to positive COVID cases within the latter program. The Rams will still play in that same timeslot, however, by moving up next month's contest against La Salle. Tip-off on CBS Sports Network is still set for noon.
Fordham and Rhode Island will seek to reschedule their game at a later date. This is the fourth game of Fordham's season that has been either postponed or canceled, although the Rams were able to reschedule and play Fairleigh Dickinson this past Sunday, a 63-36 win for the hosts, after their original 12/19 date was postponed.
