Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University men's basketball program released its non-conference schedule today, a schedule that features six home games in the historic Rose Hill Gym as well as a game at St. John's and the annual Battle of the Bronx contest at Manhattan.

The Kyle Neptune era will commence for the Fordham men's basketball program on Tuesday, November 9, as the Rams host Columbia University in the Rose Hill Gym.
 
The Rams appear in one in-season tournament, the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida, and will take on the University of Miami as part of the Hall of Fame Invitational at Barclays Center.
 
Columbia logovs. Columbia University - Tues., Nov. 9
• It will be the 60th meeting between Fordham and Columbia on the hardwood.
• It will be the first game with Columbia since the Rams won the 2018 Johnny Bach Classic on a Jalen Cobb buzzer-beater in the Rose Hill Gym.
• The Rams lead the all-time series, 52-27, and have taken four of the past five meet­ings.
• The Lions did not compete in 2020-2021.
• Fordham is 132-82 all-time against Ivy League teams.
 
 
Manhattan logoat Manhattan College – Fri., Nov. 12
• It will be the 113th meeting between Fordham and Manhat­tan on the hardwood.
• The 112 games played against Manhattan are the most for the Rams against any opponent while the 54 wins over the Jaspers are the most victories over any team for Fordham.
• Fordham took the two of the past three meetings.
• Last season marked the first time since 1944-45, which was cancelled due to World War II, that the teams didn't meet.*
• It also marked the first time that Manhattan and Fordham didn't play a game in a season in which both schools fielded teams in almost 100 years (1921-22).*

• It will be the third meeting between Fordham and Maryland Eastern Shore on the hardwood.
• The Rams won the last meeting, 66-45, in 2019 behind 18 points and eleven rebounds from Chuba Ohams.
• Fordham is 11-3 all-time against teams currently in the MEAC.
• Hawks' Hall of Famer Pat Doughty, who served as the UMES public address announcer from 2000-2004 and is currently the PA announcer for the Charlotte Hornets, is the voice of NBA 2K.

• First game played between Fordham and Akron.
• Rams have played five other MAC teams (Bowling Green, Kent State, Miami (OH), Ohio, and Western Michigan).
• Zips were 15-8 in 2020-2021.
• Akron was 24-7 in 2019-2020 before COVID canceled MAC championship.
 

Appalachian State and Delaware logosvs. Appalachian State University/University of Delaware, Tues., Nov. 23
• Second round opponent.
• Rams are 1-0 all-time vs. Delaware.
• Fordham defeated the Blue Hens, 50-19, at Delaware in 1925.
• Delaware went 22-11 in 2019-2020.
• Fordham and Appalachian State have never met in men's basketball.
• The Mountaineers went 17-12 in 2020-2021, winning the Sun Belt Conference title.
• Appalachian State fell to Norfolk State in the first round of the NCAA championship.

• Rams are 7-0 all-time vs. Vermont.
• The last time the Rams and Catamounts faced off was 1981.
• Vermont was 26-7 in 2029-2020 and advanced to the America East Championship game before it was canceled by COVID.
• Fordham is 1-2 all-time vs. Rice.
• Rice 15-13 in 2020-2021 and advanced to the quarterfinals Conference USA championship.
• Rams are 0-1 all-time vs. Evansville.
• The Purple Aces compete in the Missouri Valley Conference.
• Evansville knocked off Kentucky in 2019-2020.
• Fordham has never played Oakland.
•The Bears compete in the Horizon League.

• It will be the fourth meeting between Fordham and Central Con­necticut on the hardwood.
• Fordham leads the all-time series, 2-1.
• The Rams have taken the past two meetings, including an 83-60 win on December 21, 2016, in the Rose Hill Gym in the last meeting between the schools.
• It will be Fordham's first trip to Central Connecticut State.
• The Rams are 60-28 all-time against teams currently in the NEC.
 
 
St. Francis logovs. St. Francis (NY) College, Wed., Dec. 1
• It will be the 37th meeting between Fordham and St. Francis on the hardwood.
• The Rams lead the all-time series, which started in the 1905-06 season, 25-12, includ­ing a 68-59 win at Fordham on November 5, 2019, in the last meeting between the schools.
• Fordham has taken the last three meetings and four of the last five.
• The Rams are 65-30 all-time against teams currently in the Northeast Conference.
 
 
St. John's logoat St. John's University, Sun., Dec. 5
• It will be the 89th meeting between Fordham and St. John's on the hardwood.
• The Red Storm lead the all-time series, 66-22.
• The 88 games played against St. John's are the second most for the Rams against any opponent (Fordham and Manhattan will meet for the 1139th time this year).
• The Rams took last year's meeting, 73-57, on December 2 in the Rose Hill Gym as Ryan Rhoomes scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Mandell Thomas added 14 points.
• The Fordham win last year snapped a four-game winning streak for St. John's in the all-time series.

• It will be the 16th meeting between Fordham and LIU on the hardwood.
• The Rams lead the all-times series, 10-5, and have taken seven of the last nine meet­ings, including an 81-68 win in 2017 in the Rose Hill Gym.
• The Rams are 65-30 all-time against teams currently in the Northeast Conference.
• LIU was nicknamed Blackbirds until the merger of LIU Brooklyn and LIU C.W. Post in 2019 when they changed the name to Sharks.
 
 
UMiami logovs. University of Miami, Barclays Center, Sun. Dec. 12
• It will be the third meeting between Fordham and Miami.
• The two schools split the first two meetings.
• The Rams took the first meeting, 85-83, in 1970 in Miami, while the Hurricanes took the second meeting, 55-44, in Miami in 1994.
• It will be Fordham's first game versus an ACC team since a meeting with Florida State at the 2017 Jamaica Classic.
• Other games in the HOF Invitational: NC State vs. Purdue, Florida vs. Maryland, and Iona vs. Yale.
 
 
Georgia Southern logovs. Georgia Southern, Wed., Dec. 22
• First meeting between Fordham and Georgia Southern.
• Eagles went 20-13 in 2019-2020 and advanced to the Sun Belt championship game before it was canceled due to COVID.
• It will be the fifth Sun Belt opponent for Fordham (the Rams played UT Arlington and Western Kentucky when the schools were in the conference).
