2021 Block F Special Awards – Virtual Style

Even though the COVID canceled the 2021 Block F Awards Dinner it will not stop us from recognizing the outstanding student-athletes from 2020-2021. As we did last year, instead of gathering in the historic Rose Hill Gym each winner will be honored online, from team MVPs to all the special award winners. We know that it's not the same, but we want all the student-athletes to know that we thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Bronx, N.Y. – It's the last day of the 2021 Block F Special Awards as recognize Fordham's top two athletes of the year, beginning with the Hobbs Award which goes to sophomore Anna DeWolfe from the women's basketball squad.

The Claire and Jack Hobbs Memorial Award is presented to the female athlete of the year who has achieved outstanding athletic accomplishments. The award is named in honor of the late Claire and Jack Hobbs.  Jack was a 1938 graduate of Fordham College and a 1941 graduate of Fordham Law, and he and his wife were avid Fordham followers.

This is the fourth straight year, and the eighth time since 2013, that a member of the women's basketball program has won the Hobbs Award.
