Bronx, N.Y. – Due to Manhattan reporting positive COVID-19 testing within its women's basketball program, this upcoming Wednesday's scheduled home opener and 51^st Battle of the Bronx has been cancelled. No make-up date or potential replacement have been announced.
 
Wednesday was set to be the first of several Virtual Gameday Experiences for both the men's and women's basketball programs, allowing fans some behind-the-scenes possibilities, contests, and prizes. Stay tuned for more info on when the first date for women's basketball will be. Thursday, December 3^rd, against Manhattan, will be the first for men's basketball.
 
The Rams most recently defeated Stony Brook, 62-58, on the road behind the offensive duo of Anna DeWolfe (25 points) and Kaitlyn Downey (16 pounds, 20 rebounds). They never trailed in the contest.
