Bronx, N.Y. – Though his basketball career didn't end as he had planned,
Jesse Bunting's educational career will end as he planned, with the completion of a graduate degree from Fordham University.
Â
"We're so happy that Jesse has recovered and is able to return and complete his degree," said head coach
Jeff Neubauer. "He will always be a part of the Fordham basketball family. The future is bright for Jesse as he leaves with two Fordham degrees."
Â
Bunting, whose playing career was cut short when he suffered a minor stroke last March, has returned to campus to complete his master's degree in Marketing Intelligence.
Â
Bunting appeared in 28 games for the Rams in 2018-2019, starting 23, averaging 6.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg, second best on the team.
