PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Fordham University Rams, seeded eighth, open the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship, Fordham's 123rd season of basketball, on Thursday, March 12, as they take on the ninth-seeded George Washington University Revolutionaries in the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh at 11:30 a.m.
The game will be broadcast on the USA Network with Steve Burkowski (PxP) and Tim McCormick (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the
WFUV Sports YouTube page with Chris Carrino (PxP) and Joe Henry (analyst) behind the mics.
Fordham enters the game with a 17-14 record, 8-10 in the Atlantic 10, after a 61-49 A-10 win over Rhode Island in the Rose Hill Gym on Saturday afternoon while George Washington is also 17-14 on the season, 8-10 in the conference, following a 68-62 A-10 loss at Loyola Chicago on Saturday afternoon.
Thursday afternoon's game will be the 48th meeting between Fordham and George Washington on the hardwood. The Revolutionaries lead the all-time series, which started in the 1914-15 season, 33- 14 but the Rams have taken four of the past six. Fordham won this year's lone regular season meeting, 79-65, on January 31 in Washington, D.C., as
Dejour Reaves led the Rams with 19 points while also dishing out six assists, and

Rikus Schulte and redshirt freshman forward
Abass Bodija were named A-10 Co-Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, on Monday.
• Schulte averaged 16.0 ppg and 12.0 rpg in two games, recording a double-double in each, while Bodija averaged 14.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg.
• Grad student guard
Dejour Reaves, who was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 on Wednesday, has scored in double figures in all 30 games he has appeared in, including a career-best 31 points in the win at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10.
• Reaves, who has scored 20-points in three of the last five games, is averaging 20.2 ppg over the last six and an Atlantic 10-best 17.7 ppg on the season (18.7 ppg in A-10 play).
• Junior forward
Rikus Schulte leads the team with nine double-doubles, recording his most recent double-double with a 12-point, 13-rebound effort against Rhode Island on Mar. 7.
• Schulte is shooting .573 (142-248) on the season and is averaging 12.3 ppg and 8.6 rpg over the past seven..

Christian Henry, who has scored in double figures in five of the past eight games.
• Henry is averaging 5.3 apg on the year, tops in the A-10, including a career-high ten helpers at La Salle on Mar. 3.
• Redshirt freshman forward
Abass Bodija is averaging 9.4 ppg and 5.8 rpg over the last eight contests.
