Bronx, N.Y. – (August 23, 2019) – As the Fordham men's soccer team preps for their final exhibition game of the preseason at Adelphi, the Rams announced that seniors Joergen Oland and Bart Dziedzic will serve as the team co-captains for the 2019 campaign.
 
Oland, a Preseason All-Atlantic 10 selection and Hermann Trophy nominee, has been a mainstay on the Rams' backend for the last three seasons.  Starting all 59 games he has appeared in as a Ram, he has been honored multiple times by the Atlantic 10, earning Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year honors last year, while being a two-time All-Atlantic 10 performer (2017 – Second Team; 2018 – First Team) and an Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selection (2016).  Oland is also a two-time All-Region selection, and has contributed offensively with 11 career goals and two assists.
 
Dziedzic has also seen his fair share of the action over his first three years at Rose Hill.  He has appeared in 52 games, making 24 starts.  A versatile player who has played all over the pitch, he has four goals and two assists in his career, while academically he is a three-year member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
Oland and Dziedzic will lead the Rams into their regular season opener on Thursday, August 29^th, at Hofstra, starting at 5:30 PM.
