Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham women's tennis squad honored its four seniors prior to today's match with Siena and then had all four play a hand in defeating the Saints, 4-0, on the Hawthorn/Rooney Courts.
The Rams opened the match by winning all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point.

Tatiana Grigoryan defeated Meagan Brown and Laura Becker at first doubles, 7-5, seniors
Alexis Zobeideh and
Gianna Insogna were victorious at second doubles over Natalie Weaver and Dilara Spicer, 6-3, and
Genevieve Quenville and
Nicole Li upended Nanea Perkins and Juliana Goehner at number three, 7-5.
Fordham then won all three competed singles matches, two of those by seniors, for the win.
Maia Balce defeated Becker at third singles, 6-0, 6-2, while Insogna knocked off Anessa Leyva at the fourth position, 6-2, 6-3, and senior
Whitney Weisberg picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win at sixth singles over Goehner .
The Rams return to action on Sunday, April 14, as they host the University of Rhode Island on the Hawthorn/Rooney Courts at 11:00 a.m.
