Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2019-2020 season, Fordham's 117th varsity season, by hosting the Manhattan College Jaspers in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m. in the annual Battle of the Bronx.
The first 300 fans through the turnstiles will receive a free Fordham rally towel, courtesy of NYC Vision Zero.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (p-b-p) and Isis Young (color) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and
www.wfuvsports.org, with Emmanuel Berbari (p-b-p) and Andrew Posadas (color) announcing.
Fordham enters the game with a 5-2 record and is coming off a 66-45 win over Maryland Eastern Shore in the Rose Hill Gym last Sunday while Manhattan is 3-3 on the year and is coming off a 65-47 loss at Stony Brook University on Monday night.
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the 112th meeting between Fordham and Manhattan on the hardwood. The Jaspers lead the all-time series, 57-54. The 111 games played against Manhattan are the most for the Rams against any opponent while the 54 wins over the Jaspers are the most victories over any team for Fordham. Fordham took the past two meetings, including a 57-56 win in Draddy Gym last December as
Antwon Portley scored 14 points and dished out seven assists and
Nick Honor hit a jumper in the lane with seconds left for the win.

• The Fordham Rams have come out strong on the defensive end in 2019-2020.
• The Rams have held their first seven opponents to an average of 56.6 ppg while the seven Fordham foes shot just .390 (141-362) from the field, second-best among A-10 teams.
• Fordham leads the Atlantic 10 in scoring defense and is 12th in the NCAA.
• Ohams picked up his second double-double of the season with an 18-point, 11-rebound effort vs. Maryland Eastern Shore.
• Ohams has three career double-doubles.
• He is leads the team in scoring (13.0 ppg) and in rebounding (8.3 rpg) after averaging 6.0 ppg and 6.5 rpg in 2018-2019.
