Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham volleyball team (9-13, 2-8) wraps up play in the Rose Hill Gym this season with matches against VCU and Davidson on Friday and Saturday, at 7 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively. Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+. Fans can find all ways to follow along with the matches via the schedule page above.

Senior Day
The program will see five student-athletes walk on Saturday with friends and family before the Davidson match. Elise Benjamin, Olivia Fairchild, Kaitlin Morley, Michelle Rodriguez, and Morgan Williams all will be honored in the annual pregame ceremony, which will start 15 minutes prior.

Last Time Out
The Rams split last weekend's matches, defeating Duquesne in four sets in convincing fashion, but falling late to La Salle in five sets. Outside of the second frame, the Rams defeated the Dukes, 25-21, 25-17, 25-18. During the match, Morgan Williams set yet another program record – most digs in a season, finishing the night with 505 and the weekend with 536, the first Ram to reach the 500-dig plateau. McKenna Lahr led the way with 17 kills, hitting .313, while each Olivia Fairchild and Joey Landeros hit .370, the latter tallying a season-high 11 kills. Against La Salle, the hosts took the first and third sets, but the Explorers rallied with an explosive fourth and kept their momentum through the fifth set. Lahr again led with 12 kills, while Megan Brzozowski racked up 25 assists, 11 digs, and a season-high four aces.

Series Histories
VCU – The (other) Rams led the all-time series, 8-3, since 1997. That year, the Rams won in four sets in their only battle outside of their shared time in the Atlantic 10. VCU is currently on a six-match win streak with Fordham's most recent win coming at home in straight sets in 2015. Fordham hasn't picked up a set against VCU since that year, including a sweep on the road earlier this season.

Davidson – The Wildcats hold a 6-2 series advantage since joining the Atlantic 10 in 2014. Fordham took the first meeting in four sets in the Bronx and won in five at home two years ago. In that match, Olivia Fairchild racked up 21 kills and 10 digs, Elise Benjamin had nine kills, and Lahr and Williams combined for 23 digs. Earlier this year, the Wildcats won in four sets down south.

Williams, Rams Among Nation's Digs Leaders
Senior captain and libero Morgan Williams has racked up 536 digs already this season, good for an average of 6.09 per set. The former stat ranks seventh in all of Division I, while the latter sits fourth. The team, as a whole, has averaged 18.44 digs per set, which ranks third in the country, while their 1,623 total digs sits 25th. The Rams are also 25th in attacks per set (37.91) and 68th with a combined .183 opponent hit percentage. Defensively, the Rams are 131st with 187.5 total blocks and, with 2.13 per set, are 114th.

Williams Smashing Records
A four-time Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week honoree this year, Morgan Williams has set four school records already this year, most recently becoming the school's all-time career leader in digs and setting the single-season digs record. She is up to 1,757 now, most in Fordham history. She is also averaging 4.33 per set for her career, which will smash the previous record, and is up to 6.09 per frame this year alone, which would smash her previously set record from last year (4.28). Her first record this year came when she initially broke the four-set mark for digs with 33 at Georgia State during opening weekend before breaking the overall single-match record with 42 digs in four frames at Dartmouth. The team also combined for 103 digs that day, a new four-set record, as well.

Though she didn't pick up any hardware for it, Williams added yet another record to her resume when she notched 39 digs at Rhode Island, breaking Maria Rodenberg's record of 38 for five-set matches, which also used to be the overall record. Williams has seven matches of 30 or more digs this year already, including both matches last weekend.

Fairchild Hits 1,000 Kills
The redshirt junior entered this season with 827 career kills after sitting out last year due to injury. This year, Fairchild has 207 kills and is now up to 1,034 for her career, becoming the 11th Ram to reach the milestone and is now 10th all-time. Fairchild is already the program's leader with 3.55 kills per set and is 10th with a .236 hit percentage. She is also seventh all-time with 127 career aces, 17 away from joining the top-five, and will soon join the top-10 for total attacks.

Pejouan Matches Blocks Record
At LIU, freshman Chloe Pejouan made the start and tallied 13 blocks, tying Marija Markovic's single-match record in four sets against Manhattan in 2006. She also surpassed Randi Ewing's five-set record of 12 from 2012.

Class of 2023
The Rams welcomed five new faces to the program with freshmen Megan Brzozowski, Mallory Lipski, Aria De La Rosa, Chloe Pejouan, and Aneliesa Cartledge. Read more about the rookies and their high school careers at the links.

Preseason Poll
The Rams, who finished ninth last year in the Atlantic 10, have been predicted to repeat that by the league's head coaches in the annual preseason poll. Read more here.

Up Next
The Rams travel to Georges Mason and Washington next weekend to wrap up the regular season. They'll take on George Washington first on Friday at 7 p.m. and then Mason the next day at 5 p.m.
