Kansas City, Mo. – (October 3, 2019) - United Soccer Coaches announced its Team Academic Award winners for the 2018-19 academic year.  Among those honored were both the Fordham men's and women's soccer teams for the tenth consecutive year. 
 
Fordham was one of 258 schools to have both of its soccer programs receive the Team Academic Award.  A total of 992 collegiate soccer teams (345 men, 647 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the Team Academic Award for the 2018-19 academic year.
 
From a conference perspective, 20Atlantic 10 soccer programs were honored, as well as eight institutions having both been listed.  Davidson had the top GPA among Atlantic 10 women's soccer teams, while Fordham's men's team was top among Atlantic 10 programs for the second straight year.
