Bronx, N.Y. – Jasmine Cannady, a former assistant marketing director at Notre Dame, was named was named Associate Athletic Director of Marketing, Promotions and Tickets at Fordham University it was announced today.

In her position, Cannady is responsible for developing and coordinating all marketing and promotional activities for Fordham University's 22 varsity teams and design ticket marketing plans to promote fan attendance. She will also coordinate and implement all game-day promotional activities and contests and use social media to further the marketing and branding efforts of individual sports and Fordham Athletics.

Cannady comes to Fordham after serving as an assistant marketing director at Notre Dame for the past three years. She coordinated and executed a comprehensive marketing plan for the Fighting Irish women's basketball and baseball teams, which included the development of promotions and ticket sales initiatives designed to increase attendance, revenue and fan engagement. Cannady developed detailed game scripts and directed all in-game activities, including music, spirit squad and band coordination that enhanced the fan experience. She also coordinated media placement and assisted Fighting Irish Media in the development of traditional and digital advertising creative.
Prior to her stint at Notre Dame, Cannady served as the athletic business coordinator at her alma mater, Sacramento State University from 2014-2015. She oversaw and managed all ordering, receiving and inventorying of all athletic apparel for 15 collegiate teams and six departments.

Cannady started her time at Sacramento State as the marketing assistant and business coordinator for the school from 2013-2014, coordinating and running an internship program employing 25 student-interns.

A 2011 graduate of Sacramento State University with a degree in journalism and communications, Cannady also earned an MBA from the school in 2016. She was a four-year starter for the Hornets women's basketball program.
