ECAC Release
Â
DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the Academic and President's Honor Roll Lists for Spring 2018. A total of 8,026 student-athletes from across the ECAC membership made the list, with 107 from Fordham Winter & Spring sports.
Of the total of 8,026 student-athletes are recognized for their academic achievements for the Spring 2018 semester, 3,378 student-athletes were named to the Academic Honor Roll, achieving a GPA of 3.2-3.59 and 4,267 student-athletes were named to the President's Honor Roll, boasting a 3.6 GPA or better for the term.
"Recognizing our student-athletes is at the core of our mission at the ECAC," said ECAC President and CEO Dan Coonan. "This program is a great way for us to celebrate the academic efforts of ECAC student-athletes, and we look forward to shining a spotlight on their accomplishments in the classroom."
The ECAC Academic Honor Roll is split into two tiers. The Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who achieved a 3.2-3.59 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and have completed one full academic year at their current institution. The second tier, the President's Honor Roll, recognizes student-athletes who have a GPA of 3.6 or better and have completed a full academic year at their institution.
Criteria for the spring academic honor rolls require student-athletes to be of sophomore status or higher that compete in the sports of baseball, softball, basketball, lacrosse, swimming & diving and track & field. Here are the lists of who was honored from Fordham's football, volleyball, soccer, and cross country teams this fall:
