New York, N.Y. – (December 13, 2018) - Major League Soccer today announced the initial 60 college players invited to participate in the 2019 adidas MLS Player Combine. Top collegiate players from across the country will showcase their talents in front of representatives from all 24 MLS clubs in Orlando, Fla. from January 3-9, 2018. Among the initial invitees are Fordham's
Janos Loebe (Kierspe, Germany) and
Rashid Nuhu (Accra, Ghana).
All invited players will be eligible for selection in the 2019 SuperDraft presented by adidas which will take place at 12 p.m. ET on Friday, January 11th in Chicago's McCormick Place in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
A committee of MLS coaches and NCAA Division I coaches from every conference selected the invitees, all of whom completed their college eligibility this season. Further invitees including Generation adidas signings, non-collegiate players, and additional college seniors will be announced in the coming weeks.

Loebe and Nuhu are two of three Atlantic 10 players that received invites, along with Saint Louis' Lennart Hein.
Janos Loebe
Both Loebe and Nuhu just finished an incredible four years at Fordham, as both have their names all over the Fordham record book. Loebe finished second at Fordham in career assists (31), fourth in career points (83), tied for sixth in goals (26), fourth in games played (79) and third in games started (78), while Nuhu ended his career as one of the program's best netminders, setting the career record for minutes played by a goalkeeper (6942) and tying the career appearances mark (74), while being second in shutouts (30) and goals against average (0.93).
Both players also racked up plenty of awards in their time at Fordham. Loebe was a four-time First Team All-Atlantic 10 performer, earning the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year Award as a freshman and the Offensive Player of the Year Award as a sophomore and a senior. He was also a four-time All-Region selection, earning First Team honors the past two seasons. After receiving Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honors as a freshman, Nuhu was a three-time All-Atlantic 10 and All-Region performer, and was selected as the Most Outstanding Player of the 2016 Atlantic 10 Championship.
