Bronx, N.Y. – (October 2, 2018) – Fordham baseball coach
Kevin Leighton announced today that the Rams will take part in three exhibition contests this fall at Houlihan Park.
The first game will take place on Monday, October 8
th, when the Rams will take on the Swedish National Team at 3:00 PM. It is one of four games for Team Sweden in the New York City area as they prepare for Olympic qualifying games in 2019.
Game two is the annual Alumni Challenge, where the former Rams take on the current Rams. That game is set for 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 21
st.
This is the 13th consecutive year that Fordham welcomes back all of its former players during the fall season to celebrate the outstanding baseball tradition at Fordham. We encourage all baseball alumni and their families to participate to see old friends and teammates, as well as receive a sneak peek at the 2019 baseball squad.
Following the game, a postgame reception will be held at Enzo's on Arthur Ave. (2339 Arthur Ave., Bronx, NY 10458)
The cost for the event is $50 per person with children under 10 being free. Please note that the registration fee includes a tax deductible gift of $20 to Fordham Baseball. For alumni planning to participate in the game, please contact
