Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham sophomore guard
Brenton Petty spent part of his Monday speaking with students at PS 274 in the Bronx as the students prepare for standardized testing which begins this week.
Petty met with the students in the school's auditorium and encouraged them to work hard on their studies as the work they put in now will pay off later.
"When I was in school, I worked just as hard in my English class and math class as I did in basketball," said Petty. "That's because those subjects gave me a strong foundation and allowed me to succeed in school."
