Bronx, N.Y. – After opening conference action with a tie at George Washington, the Fordham men's soccer team continues Atlantic 10 play this week with a road game at Dayton on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM, while hosting Massachusetts on Sunday afternoon at Jack Coffey Field, beginning at 1:00 PM.
 
Fordham (3-3-3, 0-0-1 A10) is unbeaten in its last four games at 2-0-2, allowing only two goals over the span.  Sophomore 
Rashid Nuhu has been steady in net with 13 saves over that stretch with a 0.43 goals against average.  Dayton (3-5-2, 0-0-1 A10) will have their first home game in over a month on Wednesday.  The Flyers are led by freshman Rok Taneski, who has three goals and three assists on the season.  Just like Fordham and Dayton, Massachusetts (3-6-2, 0-0-1 A10) began league play with a draw, but have had some recent success, going 3-1-1 in its last five matches.  The Minutemen have been ignited on offense by Alex DeSantis, who has two goals and four assists on the year.

SERIES HISTORY: This will be the 19
th meeting between Fordham and Dayton since the Rams joined the Atlantic 10 in 1995.  The Flyers hold a 10-6-2 edge in the series, but have not defeated Fordham since 2008.  The Rams are 3-0-2 in the last five meetings, which included a 1-1 draw last season at Jack Coffey Field.  Between Fordham and Massachusetts, this is the 21
st meeting since 1995, with the Minutemen having a 13-7-0 record versus the Rams.  The two met twice last season with UMass winning the regular season finale in Amherst, 1-0, while Fordham won 1-0 in the opening round of the Atlantic 10 Championship, just five days later in Fairfax, Virginia.

LAST TIME OUT: Atlantic 10 play started for the Fordham men's soccer team on Saturday in Washington, D.C., where the Rams and George Washington Colonials played to a scoreless tie at GW Soccer Field.
 
The first scoring chance of the game came in the eighth minute off a Fordham set piece.  
Cole Stevenson took a corner kick that found 
Connor DeFilippis for a header that was stopped by Colonials goalkeeper Thor Arne Hofs.
The best scoring opportunity of the game also came from DeFilippis late in regulation, as he went on a run toward goal in the 86
th minute.  Hofs came out of the goal to challenge, forcing DeFilippis into a shot that just went over the crossbar.
 
Neither team mustered much offense in overtime, leaving the game in a scoreless tie.
 
In goal, Hofs made five saves for the Colonials for the shutout, while 
Rashid Nuhu made one save for his second shutout of the season for Fordham.
