Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham women's basketball head coach Stephanie Gaitley has been named the Region 1 representative on the Women's Basketball Coaches' Association NCAA Division I Coaches' All-America Committee for the next four years, marking the third time Gaitley has served on the committee in her career.
 
"I'm excited to be back on the committee that I've spent a number of years of my career working with," Gaitley said, "It's exciting to be a part of a select group to pick the best players in the country. I look forward to working with my colleagues."
 
Gaitley will be one of nine WBCA member coaches tasked with a specific region and will work together to determine the 10 best players in Division I this season. The spot on the committee requires a four-year term, something that Gaitley has done twice in her career in the 1990s.
 
Coach Gaitley was also recently named a member of Maccabi USA's Open Women's Basketball Selection Committee to help select the 12-Woman Roster for next summer's Maccabiah Games in Israel.
