Baseball Travels To GW For Big A-10 Series

Rams Meet Colonials Starting Friday

Having won four of their last six conference games, the Fordham baseball team (13-20, 4-5 A10) is right back in the thick of the Atlantic 10 playoff race as the calendar hits mid-April.  The Rams will take on one of the Atlantic 10 leaders this weekend, as they meet the George Washington Colonials (22-10, 9-2 A10) for a three-game series at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park in Arlington, Virginia.

The Colonials enter the weekend on a five-game win streak and have won eight of their last nine conference games, sweeping series against Dayton and St. Bonaventure, while taking two of three against Massachusetts.

Fordham had their three-game win streak snapped on Wednesday at Siena, and will make their first visit to Tucker Field since 2010.
