th-rnkaed USC Trojans, but a seven-run fourth inning by USC dosed those hopes, falling by a 10-1 score at Dedeaux Field in Los Angeles.

With the loss, Fordham fell to 1-8 on the year, while USC remained unbeaten at 12-0.

The Trojans started the scoring in the first, scoring two runs on an RBI-single by Jeremy Martinez and a sacrifice fly by Dante Flores.

The sac fly was just the start for Flores, as he hit a three-run home run in the fourth, highlighting a seven-run inning to give the Trojans a 9-0 lead. He also had an RBI on a fielder's choice in the sixth, giving him a career-high five RBI on the day.

Fordham could not muster much offense against USC starter Mitch Hart, as he allowed only two hits over seven innings with five strikeouts. The Rams did break up the shutout in the sixth inning, as
Jason Lundy reached on an error, was sacrificed to second, and scored on an RBI-single by
Mark Donadio.

Kirk Haynes, Jr. took the loss (1-1), allowing five earned runs on seven hits over 3.1 innings of work. At the plate, Donadio extended his career-high hit streak to eight games, going 1-for-3 with an RBI, while
Ian Edmiston had the Rams' only other hit.

th, when Fordham hosts Wagner at Houlihan Park, beginning at 3:00 PM.
