Follow on Twitter Bronx, N.Y. (February 24, 2015) - The Fordham University Rams continue their 2014-2015 Atlantic 10 season, the 112th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by hosting the La Salle University Hawks in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday, February 25, at 7:00 p.m.

Fordham enters the game with an 8-17 overall record, 3-11 in the Atlantic 10, following a 76-57 conference loss Davidson on Saturday. La Salle enters the game with a 15-12 overall record, 7-7 in the A-10, after a 68-64 overtime league loss at Saint Louis on Sunday.
Wednesday night's contest will be the 49
th meeting between Fordham and La Salle on the hardwood with the Explorers leading the all-time series, which started in the 1953-54 season, 35-13. La Salle has taken the past three match-ups, including a 60-49 win earlier this year on January 17 in Philadelphia as Jordan Price paced the Explores with 15 points while
Eric Paschall led all scorers for the Rams with 25 points.

Mandell Thomas* Fordham freshmen
Eric Paschall and
Chris Sengfelder are the only set of freshman teammates to be averaging more than 10.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg. Paschall is third in the Atlantic 10 in scoring with a 17.3 ppg average while also pulling down 5.5 rpg, while Sengfelder is averaging 11.1 ppg and 7.2 rpg.
* The 2014-2015 Fordham men's basketball squad is becoming adept at taking away the ball. Through games of February 23, the Rams are seventh in the Atlantic 10, averaging 6.6 steals/game, including a season-high eleven in the South Carolina State game on Dec. 31. Junior
Mandell Thomas leads the Rams with 55 steals, ranking second in the conference (2.2/game).
* Through games of February 23, the Fordham Rams have the Atlantic 10's third leading scorer, and top freshman scorer, in freshman guard
Eric Paschall (17.3 ppg) while
Mandell Thomas is second in the conference in steals (2.2/game). The Rams also have the fifth leading rebounder in junior forward
Ryan Rhoomes (8.6 rpg) while Rhoomes is also seventh in the conference in blocked shots, averaging 1.3/game, and Thomas is sixth in assists with a 3.4 apg average.
* Over the past seven games, the Fordham offense has heated up, scoring over 70 points in five of the contests and averaging 72.7 ppg over that stretch.
