Follow on Twitter Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University Rams continue their 2015-2016 season, the 113th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by hosting the University of Maine Black Bears in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Saturday, December 19, at 2:00 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network with Andrew Bogusch (p-b-p) and Kenny Ducey (color) announcing and can also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on www.wfuvsports.org with Matt Moro (p-b-p) and Drew Casey (color) announcing. Follow the links above.
Saturday afternoon's contest will be the second meeting between Fordham and Maine on the hardwood. The Black Bears took the first matchup, 76-73, on November 13, 2009. Fordham is 13-3 all-time against schools currently in the America East Conference
Notes• The Rams are off to an 8-1 start in 2015-2016, the best start for a Fordham team since 1970 when the Rams also opened the season 12-0. The last time the Rams opened a season 9-1 was in 1970-1971.
• The current eight-game Fordham winning streak is the longest since 1990-1991. The last nine-game winning streak for the Rams was in the 1990-1991 season (Fordham won 14 straight that year).

Mandell Thomas enters the game with 1,233 career points, moving him ahead of Jason Harris (1997-2001) and Michael Haynes (2000-2004) and into a tie with Darryl Brown (1972-1975) for 17th on the Fordham all-time scoring list. Thomas is five points behind Tony McIntosh (1981-1985) for 16th on the list.

Ryan Rhoomes brought his career total to 699, moving him ahead of John Coalmon (1958-1961) and into eleventh place on the Fordham career rebounding list. Rhoomes is 44 behind Bill Carlson (1949-1952) for tenth on the all-time list.
• The 2015-2016 Rams have scored 80 or more points in a game in six of the past seven games after surpassing the 80-point mark just twice all of last season. The last time Fordham scored 80 or more points in a game in six of seven games was at the beginning of the 1986-1987 season.
