As the fall sports wrapped up and the winter sports got underway, two winter sports stars, senior swimmer

Megan Polaha, distinguished themselves as the Zipcar Performers of the Month for the month of November.

In his two meets in November, Sholdra competed in seven individual events, placing first in six of them, while setting one school record and posting one NCAA "B" cut time.  He began the month against Boston University, winning three individual events. He placed first in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:43.31), the 200-yard butterfly (1:48.61), and the 500-yard freestyle (4:33.93) Sholdra then had a superb run at the Bucknell Invitational, as his efforts earned him Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week honors on Novemebr 24th. He opened that meet by winning the 500-yard freestyle in a school record time of 4:26.81. He then took first in the 400-yard individual medley in 3:54.64, as well as in the 1650-yard freestyle, where he registered an NCAA "B" cut time of 15:27.32. Sholdra concluded the meet by taking second in the 200-yard butterfly in 1:48.50.
Polaha competed in three meets in November, winning four of six individual events, while setting two school records in NCAA "B" cut times. She opened the month at Boston University, where she finished second in both the 100- (56.57) and 200-yard (2:02.89) butterfly events, both in season-best times. Against LIU Post, she took first in the 200-yard backstroke, her lone individual event, with a time of 2:04.82. Then at the Bucknell Invitational, Polaha recorded three first place finishes and set two school records, as she earned Atlantic 10 Performer of teh Week honors. After winning the 200-yard individual medley in 2:02.90 on day one, she captured the 400-yard individual medley on day two in a school record time of 4:18.91, which is also an NCAA "B" cut time. She ended the meet by winning the 200-yard butterfly in a school record and NCAA "B" cut time of 1:58.47.
