The Fordham men's soccer team looks to bounce back from a tough loss in their last game, as the Rams travel up to Kingston, Rhode Island for an Atlantic 10 Championship game re-match at URI on Wednesday night.
In last year's A-10 Championship finale, Fordham won that match, 1-0, and was the Rams' first A-10 Championship since 1996. This year's regular season match-up has pretty big stakes as well as Fordham is currently tied for second in the A-10 with George Washington at 3-1, while right behind them is Rhode Island with a 2-1-1 record.

Twitter Updates on @FordhamSoccer SERIES HISTORY: Though Fordham is 2-0 against Rhode Island in Atlantic 10 Championship games, URI still has a commanding lead in the all-time series with a 13-5-1 record against Fordham. Prior to the Championship game last year, Rhode Island won the regular season meeting between the two teams by a 1-0 score.
LAST TIME OUT: In a tightly fought contest, an own goal by the Fordham Rams was the difference in the contest, as the Saint Louis Billikens took home a 1-0 victory at Jack Coffey Field on Saturday night.
With the loss, Fordham fell to 5-5-3 on the year, 3-1-0 in the Atlantic 10, while Saint Louis improved to 5-5-2 overall, 1-1-2 in the league.
The only goal of the contest came in the 48
th minute. Saint Louis' Vince Cicciarelli played a ball to the front of the net from the left side. Fordham defender
Matthew Lewis would deflect the cross into the net for an own goal.
The Rams did have an opportunity for the equalizer in the 84
th minute, when
Janos Loebe rang a shot off the left post. The rebound came out to
Andrew Hickey, who fired high over the crossbar for a goal kick.
Fordham outshot Saint Louis, 9-8, in the contest, while the Billikens had the 7-5 edge in corner kicks. Sascha Otte earned the shutout without making a save, while
Rashid Nuhu had a pair of saves for the Rams.
