Men’s Soccer Adds Match Against St. John’s on September 30th

Rams & Red Storm Match-Up for First Time Since 1996

Fordham men's soccer coach Jim McElderry announced the addition of a road game to the regular season schedule as the Rams will play at St. John's on Tuesday, September 30, at Belson Stadium. The 7:30 p.m. game will be carried live on ESPN3.

Fordham has a 7-7-1 record in an all-time series against St. John's that dates back to 1980. The Rams and Red Storm have not met, however, since the 1996 season when the teams met twice. After posting a 5-3 win in a regular season matchup that season, St. John's recorded a 5-1 victory in the NCAA Tournament en route to winning the 1996 NCAA National Championship title.

The Rams are back in action on Wednesday afternoon, as Fordham hosts Temple at 4:00 PM at Jack Coffey Field.
