Bronx, N.Y. (August 8, 2014) – Former Fordham University men's basketball standout Brenton Butler has signed a contract to play for Nassjo in the Swedish Basketligan it was announced today on Octagon Europe.
 
Butler played the past two years in Denmark for Horsholm, averaging 21.3 ppg last year for the club.
 
Butler graduated as the eighth all-time leading scorer in Fordham history with 1,525 points (he is currently tenth) and recorded 21 career 20-point games. He also ranks third on the school's all-time three-pointers made list with 232.
 
Butler is expected to arrive in Sweden at the end of August to resume training with his new team.
