Ryan Rhoomes Talks Canadian Tour

A Brief Interview with Junior Ryan Rhoomes about The Canadian Tour So Far

As one of the team's veteran leaders, what did you see out of the team's performance in the win over Concordia last night?
RR: I saw a lot more team-oriented play, guys passing the ball, guys talking, a little bit of defense.  First half we didn't have many turnovers, but in second half we had a little too many, but that's pretty much fatigue.  It's coming along pretty good.

What were your thoughts on the play of Nemanja Zarkovic, the team's leading scorer last night, and the other first year players?
He's a scoring point guard, but he's a passing point guard as well.  Eric [Paschall] did a real good job I think.  Zaire [Thompson] did a good job.  We have to get a little more aggressive in the paint on my behalf and the other fours' behalf, but I overall we did a pretty good job.

What did you see out of the play of Chris Sengfelder, who led the team with 33 minutes played and grabbed ten boards last night?
I saw a little aggressive four, but I think we have to be a little bit more aggressive with the loss of Ryan Canty.  We have to rebound a lot more cause [Canty] loves to rebound.  I think we just got to pick it up a little.

How are you enjoying the trip to Montreal so far?
It's pretty good.  It's nice.  I've never been to another country before, so I'm enjoying it.

The Rams return to action tonight, taking on Laval University in Quebec City at 7 PM.
