Bronx, N.Y. (August 21, 2014) – Fordham University men's basketball head coach Tom Pecora announced today that senior forward Ryan Canty and redshirt freshman Manny Suarez will not play on the team's trip to Montreal later this week due to injuries.
 
Canty is scheduled to undergo back surgery and will not travel with the team. His rehabilitation time will not be known until after the surgery.
 
Suarez, who underwent shoulder surgery in July, will accompany the team but will not be able to play. He is expected to resume basketball related activities when the Rams start practice in October.
 
The Rams leave for the trip on Sunday and will play four games in five days in Montreal.
