Annual Basketball Battle of the Bronx to Be Played at Barclays Center in December

Fordham and Manhattan part of the BROOKLYN HOOPS™ Holiday Invitational

Bronx, N.Y. (June 26, 2014) – The annual men's basketball Battle of the Bronx will move to Brooklyn this winter as the Rams and Jaspers will square off at the Barclays Center as part of the BROOKLYN HOOPS™ Holiday Invitational on Monday, December 22. The game will be a doubleheader with Providence and Miami facing off in the second game.

Fordham and Manhattan will face each other for the 107th time in December. It will be just the second time the game will not be played in the Bronx (the 2001 contest was held at Madison Square Garden).

Tickets for the doubleheader can be purchased through the Fordham Ticket Office or by calling 855-RAM-TIXS (855-726-8497).

The Barclays Center is also offering A BROOKLYN HOOPSTM 3-Pack Presented by Applebee's which includes a tickets to each of three college basketball events at the arena.

o   Saturday, Jan 3 – BROOKLYN HOOPS™ presents Iowa State vs. South Carolina
