2014 Schedule | PDF

The Fordham men's soccer team announced its 2014 schedule today, which will feature nine non-conference games and eight Atlantic 10 contests.  Included in this year's schedule, the Rams will play two NCAA teams from a year ago, as well as an opening weekend road trip to Boston.

After three exhibition contests, Fordham will open its regular season on August 29th in Boston, as the Rams take on the Boston University Terriers.  Fordham will remain in the Boston area for the weekend as they head to Chestnut Hill for a match-up with Boston College of the ACC.

Fordham then heads home to Jack Coffey Field for its home opener on September 5th, as the Rams host Lafayette.  Fordham will also host the annual Battle of the Bronx against Manhattan on September 9th and Temple on September 17th in non-conference home games.

Besides the Boston road trip, the Rams have four additional non-conference road games with Fordham taking on NJIT (Sept. 13), Columbia (Sept. 24), Dartmouth (Sept. 27), and Rider (Sept. 30).

Fordham begins its eight-game Atlantic 10 conference schedule at home against Rhode Island on October 5th, as the first half of a soccer doubleheader with the women's team.  The Rams will also host Saint Joseph's (Oct. 12), Massachusetts (Oct. 26), and Duquesne (Nov. 7).

On the road, the Rams will play at VCU (Oct. 17) and George Mason (Oct. 19), both of whom made it to the NCAA tournament a year ago.  Fordham will also take on La Salle (Oct. 10) and Dayton (Nov. 2) to round out road conference play.

In addition to the 17 regular season games, Fordham will have three exhibition contests against Villanova (Aug. 16 – road), Stony Brook (Aug. 19 – road), and Vermont (Aug. 23 – home).

The Rams will look to return to the Atlantic 10 Championship by season's end.  It will be held at VCU's Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond, Virginia from November 13-16.
