Missry Named A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week

Jackson, N.J., Native Earns Her Second Weekly Honor

After a pair of standout performances this week against URI and St. Bonaventure, Hannah Missry has been named the Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week for games played between January 27th and February 2nd.

The recognition marks the second such accolade this season for Missry, who earned the same honor on January 20th.

Missry kicked off her week with 11 points on 3-6 shooting from beyond the arc against Rhode Island.  The Jackson Memorial product also sank two of her three free throw attempts, keeping her free throw percentage at 91 for the year.

Against St. Bonaventure on Saturday afternoon, Missry shot 6-13 from three, leading the Rams with 18 points in a tough loss to the Bonnies.  Six marked a new team season-high for three pointers made in a game.

On the week, Missry shot 45 percent from the floor and 47 percent from three-point land.  Over her last four games, the Jackson, N.J., native is shooting 56 percent from the floor and 54 percent from beyond the arc.

Missry and the Rams will be back in action on Wednesday, traveling to Saint Louis for a road match up with the Billikens.  That contest is slated to start at 8 PM eastern time.
