Fordham Game NotesThe Fordham Rams look to shake off an 0-2 start back at home on Tuesday, as the team hosts the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers at the Rose Hill Gym.
The Rams fell to 0-2 after a 59-42 loss to #24/25 Syracuse on Sunday, while this is the Mountaineers' second game of the year, having lost to #10/8 Maryland, 109-45, on Friday.
SCOUTING MOUNT ST. MARY'S: A WNIT team a year ago, the Mount is coached by Bryan Whitten, who is in his eighth season, after leading the team to a 19-14 record last year.
On the court, Jacqueline Brewer posted a game-high 12 points in the team's loss to Maryland, while Jenn Carney also scored in double figures. Kaitlyn Eisenhard grabbed a personal-best ten rebounds against the Terrapins, which included six offensive rebounds.
SERIES HISTORY: The Rams and Mountaineers have only met once previously, which came at the inaugural Fordham Holiday Classic in 2007. The Mount came away with a 56-43 win in that game.
WHO'S NEXT: The Fordham Rams are back at home for their next game, as the team hosts Hofstra on Friday, November 21st at 7:00 PM in the Rose hill Gym. The game against Hofstra will be televised by SportsNet NY (SNY). Fordham then hits the road for a game at Delaware.
